Our office accepts most PPO plans including but not limited to MetLife, United Healthcare, Delta Dental, Cigna, Assurant and many more. Even though you may be given a list of dentists on your plan, you ALWAYS have the ability to choose your own dentist.
If you have VA Pre-Authorization to visit a non-military dentist, we are happy to care for you and help process your VA Pre-Authorization.
We do not accept DHMO/DMO plans however, we still welcome you as a patient outside of your DHMO/DMO plan.
As a courtesy to you, once you provide us with your insurance information, we will call to get a general breakdown of your insurance contribution, fill out your claim forms and process them once treatment has been completed. Our team is well trained and exceptional at maximizing your benefits in order to help with the cost of care. Dental insurance is an assistance with your dental care, kind of like a coupon. It does not “PAY FOR EVERYTHING.”
Please understand that we can’t always know exactly how much your insurance company will contribute. We provide an estimate that is based on the information available to us from your insurance company. The range of benefits is established by your employer therefore, insurance contribution varies from one employer to the next. Some plans contribute as little as 0% or as much as 100% of dental services, with most falling in the 40-80% range. Majority of plans have a yearly maximum that is distributed over a range of services and not paid out all at once for one service. The exact contribution from your insurance company is only determined once they have received and reviewed the claim. Once your insurance company has paid the claim, any difference will be due upon receipt of our statement. If your insurance company postpones payment for more than 60 days, we ask that you make the payment while we work together to get the insurance company to pay you their obligations.
